Queen Majeeda’s Wedding Invitation long listed in Grammy Spoken Word Poetry category
Queen Majeeda’s latest album, Wedding Invitation has been long listed for a Grammy in the Spoken Word category. Majeeda was officially invited to become a voting member of the Recording Academy in August, and as a result to submit her album for consideration. She has been promoting the album in the United States where she now resides.
Queen Majeeda Joins the Recording Academy
Poet and recording artiste Queen Majeeda has accepted the invitation from the Recording Academy to join the distinguished Class of 2024.
She is among thousands of other music professionals to be invited to join this year.
Majeeda responded on her Instagram page that she was excited to join the Academy.
“I am thrilled to be a part of this year’s @RecordingAcademy New Member Class and join countless creators and professionals who serve, celebrate, and advocate for music year-round,” Majeeda said.
